After taking the summer off, Kids 4 Hydrogen met to introduce Evelyn Martinez to the team. Mike Strizki, of Hydrogen House, Skyped in at the start of the meeting to invite the team to his Dedication Event for the first consumer hydrogen house in the United States on September 11th. He calls it the Energy Independence Day. This exciting news set the tone for a lively meeting where the team members discussed H2 refueling stations for homeowners, internal combustion engine (ICE) conversions to hydrogen, hydrogen house applications, the Toyota Mirai as the first fuel cell car for sale, and creating hydrogen using waste. Great group of students and teachers; looking for a productive school year!
