Day 2: Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park (San Diego)

This was an excellent way to start their hydrogen fuel cell tour.  The science campers at the Fleet Science Center were well prepared and eager to learn about electrolyzers, fuel cells, and hydrogen.  The Kids 4 Hydrogen team delivered speeches, presented their music video “In the Year 2050” and their whiteboard video, and took the students outside to see the Mercedes F-Cell.

The students were so excited about fuel cell cars that they said that they were going to ask their parents to buy fuel cell cars for their birthday

Nick demonstrating how hydrogen is produced using the Horizon Electrolyzer.

Michael describing the difference between energy carriers and energy sources.

Rebecca and Natalie discussing the history of Kids 4 Hydrogen and playing the music video and whiteboard video.
